Wimmer on Haaland: "I have already said that this will be funny"
In an interview with "Sport1", Stefan Wimmer spoke about the departure of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund and his expectations for the future of the club.
Wimmer said he was not surprised by Haaland's departure, but he believes that Dortmund will be able to cope with his loss. "I have already said that this will be funny," Wimmer said. "We have a good team and we will be able to score goals without him."
Wimmer on loan odysseys: "It's not always easy"
Wimmer also spoke about his own loan spells at other clubs, and he admitted that it is not always easy to be successful on loan. "It's not always easy," Wimmer said. "You have to adapt to a new team and a new coach, and you have to prove yourself all over again."
